SWINGIN' on MONDAYS, CHARLOTTE COUNTY BIG BAND - John Johnson, Director
The CCBB is a traditional Jazz/Swing Band featuring five saxes, four trombones, four trumpets, piano, bass, guitar and drums.  Music spans the swing era of the ‘40s and beyond including the music of Glenn Miller, Tommy & Jimmy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Buddy Rich.  The CCBB will be performing twice a month during the coming season:  October through March.  2 new venues include the community theaters at Lemon Bay High School in Englewood and North Port High School in North Port along with The Cultural Center Theater in Port Charlotte.
